Settings > Notifications manages the email/SMS templates sent to patients at key points. The page lists all templates with an enable/disable toggle; click the pencil to edit. Click Test All Templates to send tests after changes.
Templates include: Abandoned Cart Reminder, Customer Support Message Received, Doctor Message Received, Follow-Up Reminder, Follow-Up Scheduled, Lab Requisition Ready, Order Shipped, Order Status Updated, Password Reset, Payment Receipt (more on page 2).
Use the Active toggle to turn each on or off (all default off). Recommended minimum to enable: Order Shipped, Doctor Message Received, Follow-Up Reminder, Abandoned Cart Reminder, Payment Receipt.
Editing a template: Short Description (internal), Email Body (rich text with dynamic variables, e.g. {{ name }}, and buttons via [button:Label{{ url_key }}]), SMS Body (independent short version), Active toggle. Use Show Available Variables for the full list. Never remove dynamic variables (emails will send blank/broken). The sender name comes from Settings > Email and Sending Domain. Always send a test after editing.
