Wellie MD

The Payments setting is where you configure how you receive payments from patients. Access via Settings &gt; Payments, then click Configure.

Wellie MD supports three gateways: Authorize.Net, Stripe, and NMI.

To configure, open the Payment Gateway Configuration modal and fill in: Payment Gateway (dropdown), Transaction Key (secret key from your gateway), Client Key (public key), Environment (Production or Sandbox). Click Save Configuration.

Notes: only one gateway can be active at a time; always set Environment to Production (Live) before going live; keep keys secure.

Risk of changing your gateway: card tokenization is gateway-specific — a token stored in Authorize.Net cannot be used in Stripe or NMI. If you switch, patients with saved cards must re-enter them, affecting all subscription renewals and any saved payment method. Contact your Account Manager to plan a migration and notify affected patients.
